Feature	Details
Eligibility	SMEs and Small Mid-Caps operating in Malta.
Loan	Minimum: €10,000 per group/relationship Maximum: €1,000,000 per group/relationship (These are subject to our lending criteria)
Interest rate	Variable final interest rate of 2.2% (0.05% margin over the Business Bank Base Rate of 2.15%. This is subject to changes in the Business Bank base rate).
Upfront contribution	A minimum upfront and direct contribution towards the project of 10% is required.
Loan repayment term	A minimum term of 1 year and a maximum of 10 years (inclusive of any moratorium period). The term of the loan shall not extend beyond the economic useful life of the asset being acquired.
Fees	MDB Guarantee fee of 0.72% of the facility amount charged separately from interest on a quarterly basis Advances Processing Fees Renewal Fees Commitment Fee 0.5% (on undrawn amounts after 6 months) No management fees
Collateral	The MDB guarantee covers 80% of each individual loan amount. The extendible security requested by the bank on the loan be higher or lower according to the risk profile of the proposal.
