Unsecured lending refers to when BOV does not request any form of security or collateral.

All loans with a term of up to 15 years are subject to the following:

• For loan amounts up to EUR 4,999, the maximum term cannot exceed 5 years.
• For loan amounts between EUR 5,000 and EUR 9,999, the maximum term cannot exceed 8 years.
• For loan amounts of EUR 10,000 and over, the maximum term cannot exceed 15 years.

* Secured by cash/investments/others refers to a loan secured by taking a pledge on deposit accounts, investments, quoted securities or other similar ways.

** Secured by property refers to a loan secured by a right on the title of a property in terms of law (by way of a hypothec, general or otherwise), in BOV’s favour, as well as a pledge on a home policy of the property being hypothecated and/or a life policy in the name of applicant/s, as BOV deems fit.
