Hamrun Spartans were crowned BOV Premier League Champions for the 2023/2024 season in a season that was only decided on the penultimate game where Hamrun beat their closes rivals Floriana to enjoy an unassailable 4 point lead heading into the final match day.
The Spartans earned the right to add a star above their logo, earning themselves the 10th National League in their 117 year history and closed off the season with a 1-1 draw against Hibernians.
Kenneth Farrugia, Chief Executive Officer at Bank of Valletta and Malta FA President Bjorn Vassallo presented the BOV Premier League Trophy to Hamrun following the last match of the BOV Premier League 2022/2023 played at the National Stadium in Ta’ Qali.
This is the 19th consecutive season that sees Bank of Valletta as the main sponsor of the BOV Premier League in its commitments towards good health and wellbeing in the community in which it operates.
