With Exiles and Birzebbuga both on 12 points going into the last direct encounter of the season, Exiles beat their rivals 5-4 to win the title.

Exiles were presented with the BOV Water Polo 1st Division League trophy by Ernest Agius, Chief Operations Officer at Bank of Valletta and Karl Izzo, President of the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta.

Bank of Valletta is this year celebrating its 50th Anniversary since it first opened its doors and continues to establish itself as an active player in the Community in which it operates.
