Bank of Valletta and the Malta Basketball Association have officially conducted the fixture draws for the upcoming BOV Basketball Knock-Out Competitions, whose finals are scheduled for 10th February 2026.
The draws were held in the presence of participating club officials and were conducted by Ernest Agius, Chief Operations Officer at Bank of Valletta, and Paul Sultana, President of the Malta Basketball Association.
This year’s competitions will take place between 30th January and 10th February 2026, following the challenging knockout format. Six teams will compete in the BOV 1st Division Knockout, while eight teams will contest the BOV Amateur League.
The BOV Basketball Knock-Out Competitions promise thrilling matchups as teams battle for supremacy in a high-stakes, single-elimination format. Every game will be decisive, with no second chances, ensuring intense action and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.

Fans can look forward to an electrifying series of games culminating in the finals on 10th February 2026, where champions will be crowned in both the BOV 1st Division Knockout and the BOV Amateur League. In addition, the Most Valuable Player (MVP) from each division will be honoured, as selected by a panel of sports journalists, recognizing outstanding individual performances throughout the competition
