Stevie Camilleri was selected as the BOV Water Polo Player of the Month for June 2024.


The Neptunes’ captain, who has won this award numerous times over the past years stated that he is honoured to receive this award and that he can continue to perform at the highest levels in the latter stages of his career. His aim is to continue to inspire and attract more people to water polo which he describes as a combination of hard work together with fair and clean play.


Camilleri scored 8 goals in his 2 matches played for Neptunes during the month of June against Otters and Exiles, and providing cohesiveness to his team through his experience both locally and internationally.

Stefan Abela, Manager CSR at Bank of Valletta presented Camilleri with a custom- made trophy to commemorate his achievement in the presence of Karl Izzo, President of the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta.
