Jayden Cassar is the BOV Water Polo Winter League Player of the Month for February 2024.
The Sliema ASC youngster was the protagonist in Sliema’s first outing in this year’s BOV Water Polo Winter League, scoring 4 goals in his team’s big 21-6 win over Marsaxlokk. He proceeded to score another 4 goals against Otters and took his goal tally to 11 during February with another 3 goals against Birzebbuga.
Cassar is just back from Poland where he formed part of the U19 National Team squad that achieved qualification for the Euro Championship finals where he also scored 2 goals in Malta’s opener against Slovakia.
Stefan Abela, Manager CSR at Bank of Valletta presented the BOV Water Polo Winter League Player of the Month trophy to Cassar in the presence of Aquatic Sports Association of Malta President Karl Izzo.
