Bank of Valletta has resolved the technical difficulties experienced earlier on Wednesday morning, which affected several of its services, including internet and mobile banking, as well as card payment processing.

The Bank had promptly issued a notice to inform customers of the disruption. Its technical teams worked intensively to identify the root cause, implement a fix, and reinforce its safeguards to minimise the likelihood of similar issues in the future.

During the outage, branch services were extended to assist customers with alternative banking solutions, while the Customer Service Centre continued providing guidance and assistance.

Bank of Valletta apologises for the inconvenience caused and thanks all customers for their patience and understanding.
