How to book an appointment online
We are going to provide you with a step-by-step guide on how you can do this.
Go to www.bov.com
On the top right of the home page, click the tab ‘Book an appointment'.
This will direct you to a choice: Debit Cards and Internet/Mobile banking or Book a branch appointment.
If you click on the "Book a branch appointment" tab, the system will ask you to choose. You can select either a personal or a business appointment.
If you opt for the personal appointment, you will be given a list of appointment topics to choose from, such as Update personal details, Home loans, Personal loans, Investments, Bank accounts, Credit cards, Debit cards, and Internet Banking. Pick the one most relevant to your query.(If you are a business owner and opt for the business appointment, we will ask you to fill out an online form with your contact details. This will be submitted immediately as a data entry once you complete it.)
You will then be directed to the branch selection, where you can choose your preferred branch.
Appointments can be set at your preferred branch
You will be then given a list of branches to choose from. These are all in alphabetical order and you can scroll to your branch of choice from there.
Alternatively, you can also opt to hover over the map of Malta and Gozo, which is displayed on the right side of the page and click on your branch of choice from there. The selection menu on the left side of the page will immediately scroll to the branch you’ve picked out and you can then proceed to press the Select Branch tab.
Appointments can be set at your preferred time
Once you pressed the Select Branch tab, you will be asked to choose a time of your preference from the options displayed below.
The earliest available appointments will be the ones displayed first.
You need to choose the month first, which you will find this on the left side of the web page and then proceed to pick the day and the time most convenient to you. Once you select the time, day and month of your appointment, you will be asked to fill an online form with your contact details.
Review the details of your appointment
This online form includes your title, first name, surname, ID card /passport number, email address, telephone number, and mobile number. You will be asked to choose between email and phone as your preferred method of contact and then asked to leave any comments. After you read and agree with Bank of Valletta’s privacy notice, you can proceed to the next step.
Once this step is completed, you will be asked to review your appointment details. If there are any details you do not agree with, you can easily edit them by clicking ‘edit’ on the right side of the page. On the left side, you have a list of documents you are reuested to prepare and bring with you on the day and time of your appointment.
