Ms Anita Mangion is a Board Director and Strategic Advisor with over 20 years of hands-on experience in innovation governance, enterprise transformation, and operational resilience within financial services and public-interest organisations. She brings a strong customer-centric and execution-focused perspective to the boardroom, supporting the effective implementation of strategy.

She serves on the boards of Vilhena SICAV plc, Joseph Calleja Foundation, and BOV Foundation, and acts as Non-Executive Director – Innovation and Customer Experience Liaison at Bank of Valletta. Anita has contributed across key board committees, including Audit, Remuneration, Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime, Technology and Digital Strategy, and ESG, supporting sound governance, accountability, and long-term value creation.

She holds an Executive MBA (eBusiness), a B.Com (Management) Honours, and a B.Sc. in Business and Computing, with international academic exposure in the United States and the United Kingdom. She also holds professional qualifications in sports coaching, reflecting her focus on leadership, performance, and effective team execution in complex environments.

Ms Mangion was appointed to the Board in December 2016.
