Hibernians’ Jurgen Degabriele is the BOV Player of the Month for December 2021.

The 25-year-old striker was twice voted BOV Player of the Match in Hibs matches against Gzira and Gudja. 

Degabriele scored twice Hibs’ first 2 goals in their 3-1 win over Gzira, showing great positioning in both instances, to tap the ball into the goal on both instances. 

Degabriele also produced a great goal against Gudja, receiving the ball in midfield and advancing before releasing a rising shot from outside the area to open the score in Hibs 2-1 win. 

Kristian Gilson, Manager CSR and Communications at Bank of Valletta presented the BOV Player of the Month trophy for December 2021 to Degabriele in the presence of Ludovico Micallef, Vice President of the Malta Football Association. The player chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
