Matthew Guillamier was voted BOV Player of the Month for October 2022.
The 24-year-old midfielder had a perfect start to the month, when just after 3 minutes into their match against Floriana on the 1st of the month, he received a delicate back heel from Roko Prsa and his low effort beat goalkeeper Georgi Kitanov.
Guillaumier’s goal eight minutes from time against Mosta gave them the 2-1 lead to secure the 3 points and sole leadership of the BOV Premier League when he flicked the ball home from Matteo Fedele’s corner from the right.

Silvio Cassar, Manager at Bank of Valletta presented the BOV Player of the Month Trophy for October 2022 to Guillaumier who chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
The BOV Player of the Month award add a social dimension to Bank of Valletta’s commitment towards Good Health and Wellbeing through a monetary donation to a charity of the winning player’s choice.
