December Giveaway - Terms and Conditions

The Competition is being organised by Bank of Valletta p.l.c. (the “Bank” or “BOV”).

The will run on the BOV Club Instagram page between 19th December 2024 until 3rd January 2025 both days included (the “Competition Period”);

The consists of a social media post which will be shared on the BOV Club Instagram page and will encourage Instagram users to carry out the following steps:

Those who will follow the above requirements will be in chance to win an Apple watch.

One (1) winner will be randomly drawn on the 6th January 2024 amongst the participants who satisfy the eligibility criteria listed above. The winner will be contacted on the day of the draw through direct message on his/her Instagram profile. The Bank reserves the right to request proof of identity (ID Card or Passport)

If the winner is under 18 years of age, a declaration/consent form is to be signed by the parents/guardians of the winner.

The personal data collected during the course of this Competition will be processed in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and the Bank’s privacy notice which can be accessed through https://www.bov.com/content/privacy. In taking part in the competition, participants automatically grant their consent to the Bank and its service providers may collect, use and disclose their personal data, as provided, for the following purposes:

only as required to run the Promotion Competition and for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the Prize.

To disclose and/or publish their name, particulars for publicity purposes in the local media and/or on the Bank’s website and the Bank’s social media pages.

The Bank shall not be held liable (except to the extent permitted by law) for any loss or damage arising out of organising or holding of this Competition or as a result of one’s participation in the Competition or as a result of one winning, collecting, using or enjoyment of the Prize;

The Bank reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Competition or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time for any reason, in its sole discretion and without any prior notice;

The Competition is not open to BOV employees, and any other companies associated with the Competition.
