The MAPFRE MSV Free Life Insurance for Newly Weds is there to help make your life that little bit easier by giving you the peace of mind you deserve.

What is the Plan?

A life insurance plan that pays out €10,000 if you die before your first wedding anniversary.
Are you eligible?

You can take out the Plan, if:

  • you are a newly wed aged 18 to 65, living in Malta
  • within 6 months of your marriage

The plan will be issued on joint lives
These are the main features of the Life Insurance for Newly Weds
                                                
Type of Plan Level Term Policy
Sum Assured €10,000
Age at Entry Minimum 18 years, maximum 65 years provided that you haven’t been married for longer than 6 months.
Expiry The plan will end on the earliest of the couple’s first wedding anniversary or once the death benefit has been paid, whichever event occurs first..
Basis of Life Cover Joint Life First Death
Protecting your Dependents This plan is designed to give your new spouse a helpful start in replacing your income in the event of your death.
Beneficiary You can appoint one or more beneficiaries to receive the benefit under the Plan, when this is due. There is no charge for this arrangement to be implemented and it requires only the completion of a simple form. The appointment of a beneficiary (and acceptance thereof) under a life insurance contract does not need to be confirmed in a will and it also supersedes the provisions of a will if there is any conflict between the two.
