Bank of Valletta is proud to have been awarded the Equality Mark certification by the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE), with the support of the European Social Fund (ESF).

Awarded to BOV in recognition of the organisation’s efforts to provide a healthy work environment that is free from any type of discrimination, this achievement is tangible proof of the Bank’s commitment to its employees. The Equality Mark acknowledges the Bank’s responsibility to provide equal access to opportunities and career development based on employees’ potential, irrespective of their gender and caring responsibilities.

This formal recognition confirms that the Bank’s practices are up to standard and accessible to existing and prospective employees. Furthermore, that the rights and responsibilities of all employees are respected and safeguarded. This is further supported by the establishment of policies that not only focus on equality, but also ensure protection against sexual harassment and a continued commitment to provide family-friendly measures to all employees.

The Equality Mark was awarded to Bank of Valletta on the 6th July 2011. Bank of Valletta was recertified in  June 2014.
