Branches offering non-cashiering services on Saturdays

Non-cashiering services include home loans, personal loans, investments, cards, internet and mobile banking applications. Cashier service is not available on Saturdays at these branches:

Balluta, Birżebbuġa, Buġibba, Cospicua, Fgura, Fleur-De-Lys, Floriana, Ħamrun, Ħ’Attard, Ħal Luqa, Ħaż-Żebbug, Marsascala, Mellieħa, Mqabba, Siġġiewi, Skyparks, St Julians, Tal-Ibraġ, Żurrieq, Nadur, Xagħra, Xewkija and Sannat  

All current procedures with regards to cashiering services and safety measures including limiting the number of customers inside the branch at any one time remain in force.  

Avoid the Queue

To avoid the queue you can set up an appointment for any non-cashiering services such as home loans, personal loans, investments, bank cards and internet banking applications by sending an email to [email protected] with the type of service required, mobile number, ID Card number and preferred branch or by calling on +356 2131 2020 Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm.  

Temporarily Closed Branches 

The following Branch and Agency are temporarily closed:

  • Marsaxlokk 
  • Msida 

 ATMs and nightsafe deposit facilities at these branches will continue to operate in the normal manner. Customers who require access to safe deposit lockers located within the above mentioned branches, during the period these branches are closed, are to to send an email to [email protected] or call on +356 2131 2020 for an appointment. 

Customers of these branches who require services other than cash withdrawals and deposits are to send an email to [email protected] or call on +356 2131 2020.

Minimum Cash withdrawal amount from Branches

With effect from 23rd March 2020, the Bank is introducing a Minimum Cash Withdrawal Amount from its branch outlets to  reduce the frequency that customers have to visit the Bank’s branches, thus limiting unnecessary contact and waiting in queues.

  • You can withdraw cash from branch cashiers from a minimum of €500 upwards

  • Amounts lower than €500 are to be withdrawn from ATMs
  • If you do not have a bank card and have less than €500 in your account, you will still be able to withdraw funds from our branch cashiers.

Cheque, Cash and Coin Deposits

Cash and Cheque deposits will not be accepted by the Bank's Cashiers.  Please deposit cash through ATMs and Night Safe Facilities. Cheques are to be deposited through ATMs, Night Safe Facilities and Express Deposits. Coins are not to be deposited in Night Safe and Bulk Deposits but should be placed in specified amounts in Coin Bags. Full information can be found here.

Safe Deposit Lockers

To restrict unnecessary contact, you may access Safe Deposit Lockers once a month, strictly by appointment. To set an appointment, kindly call us on 2131 2020 or send an email to [email protected].

Usage of Masks

When visiting the Bank please: 
  • Use hand sanitisers when entering and exiting the bank
  • For your security and ours, remove your mask temporarily upon entering our branch and when we need to verify your identity. There is no need for this measure if you wear a transparent visor / face shield.
  • Our staff will serve you from behind the perspex protective screens
  • Keep your social distance of 2 metres even when waiting in queue
