Activating your BOV Card
Activating your BOV Card is EASY


Upon receipt of your new BOV card please sign the reverse of the card and choose one of these activation options:


Text ‘ACT’ followed by a space and the last 4 digits of your card to (356) 9918 0001 – e.g. “ACT 1234”. The SMS must be sent from the mobile number that is registered on the Bank’s card system. You will then receive a confirmation by return text from the Bank that the Card has been activated. If you have not yet registered your mobile number with the Bank you may do so by calling the Bank’s Customer Service Centre on (356) 2131 2020.



You may also activate your card by calling the Bank’s Customer Service Centre on (356) 2131 2020.

*The card activation service is free of charge, however SMSs and calls may be subject to fees as levied by your service provider.
