If you have registered your mobile number with BOV and are using a BOV card to shop online at a 3D Secure merchant, one of the following pop-up screens will appear depending upon whether the card is a VISA or a MasterCard:
To complete the transaction you will need to:
- Enter the one time pass code that you have received by SMS from BOV.
- Agree to the relative terms and conditions by ticking the appropriate field.
- Click ‘
Pay now’
.
Its as simple as that! Your secure transaction is now complete!

If you have not registered your mobile number with BOV and are using a BOV card to shop online at a 3D Secure merchant, one of the following pop-up screen will appear depending upon whether the card is a VISA or a MasterCard:

Pay without BOV 3D Secure’.
Following this transaction, you will not be allowed to complete any more further online transactions at 3D Secure merchants until you register to the 3D Secure service by calling the Bank's Customer Service Centre on tel: +356 2131 2020.
If you attempt a second transaction without registering to the BOV 3D Secure service the following screen will be displayed:
In this case it will be necessary to contact the bank’s Customer Service Centre on tel +356 2131 2020 to subscribe to the BOV 3D Secure service by providing the Bank with a valid mobile number. Once registered you may immediately conclude your purchase securely online.
