Jurgen Degabriele is the BOV Player of the Month for March
25 Apr 2022

Hibernians forward Jurgen Degabriele has been awarded the BOV Player of the Month for March 2022.  This is the second time this season that Jurgen, has won this award.

The 22-year-old international amassed a total of two goals in the month of March, netting a brace in the emphatic 4-1 win for Hibernians over fellow title contenders Floriana.

In March Jurgen also played in both friendlies for the National Team scoring the decisive goal in a 1-0 win over Azerbaijan, he also added one more cap in Malta’s other friendly emerging 2-0 winners over Kuwait.

His fundamental role in the attacking play both for club and country, clinical in front of goal, physically improved and skillful in one against one situation, are all noted attributes spearheading Jurgen to deservedly win this personal honour after his March contribution.

Malta FA Vice President Adrian Casha together with Bank of Valletta representative Geoffrey Ghigo presented the BOV Player of the Month Trophy for March to Degabriele who chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
