BOV Scheduled System Upgrade

Bank of Valletta would like to advise its customers that it will be upgrading its IT system on Sunday 15th November 2020 between 3.00 am and 11.00 am.

During this scheduled upgrade, some of the Bank’s digital services will be interrupted as follows:

All transactions, including
transfer of funds between own accounts and payments carried out during downtime
(e.g. through Pay Third Party, Pay a Bill
and Mobile Top Ups) will be accepted but processed after 11.00 am
  • Mobile to Mobile Payments
  • Batch Payments

  • Real-time transactions 
Other functions may also be interrupted during the upgrade

ATMs
  • Cash withdrawals
  • Cheque deposits to card linked account

  • Balance Enquiry – Available Balance

  • Mobile Top-Ups

  • PIN change
Account to account transfer instructions will be processed after 11.00 am
  • Cash Deposits

  • Cheque Deposits to Other Account/Credit Card/Loan Account

  • Mini Statements

  • Balance Enquiry – Book Balance
BOV Cards

BOV Pay
  • Card payments online, in-store, locally and abroad
  • EPOS
  • Cards used in ATMs
Card balance will be as at 15th November 3:00 am
Customer Service Centre
  • Reporting of stolen and lost cards

  • Merchant Support

  • Internet banking assistance
  • Increase debit card limits 
  • Provide customer account information
Other Services  
  • SMS top ups will not be available

This scheduled upgrade is necessary to further enhance the Bank’s service to its customers.
