Bank of Valletta would like to notify the general public, especially customers making use of its Ħamrun Branch, that the Branch will be temporarily closed until further notice since today one of its staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
The Branch will be thoroughly sanitised and will reopen once it is ascertained safe to do so for the safety and well-being of customers and staff. The Health Authority will contact those individuals who might have been exposed to the contagion as part of their contact tracing protocol.
Bank of Valletta will continue to take all the necessary measures in the best interest and safety of customers and staff and is once again encouraging customers to use its wide network of ATMs, BOV Internet Banking, BOV Mobile Banking, BOV Pay and BOV Debit and Credit Cards for their banking and payment needs. Moreover, it reminds customers visiting bank’s premises to follow the necessary precautions such as safe social distancing, proper wearing of masks and sanitising.
