BOV Gżira and Marsa Branches back in service, Zurrieq Branch Closed
20 Oct 2020
Bank of Valletta would like to advise its customers that with effect from Wednesday 21st October, it will be reopening its Gżira and Marsa Branches and closing Zurrieq Branch.

The Gzira and Marsa Branches were temporarily closed after a third party tested positive for COVID-19. The Bank engaged an infection prevention control specialist to disinfect the Branches and following confirmation by the Health Authorities the Branches are now safe to reopen for business.

The Zurrieq Branch is being closed until further notice after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.  The Night Safe facility will not be available.  ATM will operate in the normal manner.

Prior to visiting a BOV Branch, customers are encouraged to check whether their Branch has been impacted on this page.

Staying Safe
Customers are encouraged to limit the risk of contagion by using the Bank’s wide network of ATMs, BOV Internet Banking, BOV Mobile Banking, BOV Pay and BOV Cards for their banking and payment needs.

In order to avoid waiting in queues and increase risk of exposure, customers requiring non-cash related services such as home loans, personal loans, investments, account opening and applications for new internet banking services are kindly asked to set an appointment with their preferred branch by calling on 2131 2020 or sending an email to [email protected]

Bank of Valletta will continue to take all the necessary measures in the best interest and safety of its customers and staff and reminds customers visiting Bank’s premises to follow the necessary precautions such as safe social distancing, proper wearing of masks and sanitising.
