Faculty of Arts inducts 11 students in 2022 List
A record 11 students were inducted into the 2022 Dean’s List within the Faculty of Arts at the University of Malta.
Students have to obtain a Grade ‘A’ or better in at least 80 credits from 120 during the first two years of their course to be eligible for the Dean’s List, while never failing any credits.
Professor Domenic Fenech, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Malta and Charles Azzopardi, Head CSR at Bank of Valletta met the inductees and presented them with a commemorative certificate as well as a monetary donation on behalf of Bank of Valletta.
‘Despite the very stringent criteria and the global situation over the last year, we are extremely pleased to welcome the largest every group since the inception of the Dean’s List,’ said Prof Fenech. ‘Having one’s name in the Dean’s list means being among the top 5% students of the Faculty and increases one’s prestige and employability factor.’
Addressing the students, Charles Azzopardi said ‘Although the Dean’s List is not an academic honour, it is definitely a very important accomplishment that demonstrates your commitment to excellence in your work. Quality Education is one of the main UN sustainable development goals that Bank of Valletta is committed to through its Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) ambitions.’
