The winners in each category was presented with an award by Paul Sultana, President of the Malta Basketball Association and Ray Debattista, Chief Officer at Bank of Valletta.

‘The BOV Basketball Player of the Year award goes beyond the skills displayed on the court but includes a number of traits that are not easily identifiable, such as game awareness, the desire to improve and mental strength,’ said the MBA President. ‘The BOV Basketball Player of the Year Award is the highest individual honour that a player can receive as a testimonial to what makes them great players.’
