How can I transfer money to third parties who hold accounts with another bank?


1.      

Select ‘my Payments’ and choose ‘send a local or foreign payment to others’.

  

2.      

Enter the name of the person / company that you would like to pay in ‘beneficiary name’.

  

3.      

Insert the payment details and choose currency required for payment.

  

4.      

Enter the account number of the person / company you would like to pay.  Account has to be a valid IBAN in case of SEPA payment.  SEPA payment include those payments which are within the European Union and are denominated in Euro

  

5.      

Select one of your bank accounts from where money will be withdrawn.

  

6.      

Enter the amount of money that you would like to transfer and select the date you would like payment to be effected on.

  

7.      

Once ready click on ‘Next’ and authorise transaction.

 TIPS:

«  Only English alphabet is to be used.

«  If you would like to pay in foreign currency, use the ‘Currency Convertor Tool’ on your right hand side to check equivalent amounts.

«  If this payment is a recurring one, save it as a template to re-use in the future without having to key in all the details over again.

« Use https://www.bov.com/ibanvalidator.aspx to convert a BOV account number to an IBAN number or to validate a BOV IBAN number.
