To learn more about SEPA
The Single Euro Payments Area or SEPA is the area where citizens, companies and other economic participants make and receive payments in euro, whether between or within national boundaries, under the same basic conditions, rights and obligations
Receiving a SEPA payment
What about your IBAN and your bank’s BIC? In order to be in a position to receive SEPA payments (national or cross-border), you need to communicate your IBAN and your bank’s BIC.

Your IBAN: If you are a BOV customer, your IBAN is quoted on all bank account statements, which are also available, free of charge, on BOV 24x7 Internet Banking.

Alternatively, through its website BOV provides IBAN Convertor services, wherein you can key-in a BOV Account Number and you are provided with the corresponding BOV IBAN…..it is that simple.

BOV’s BIC: Bank of Valletta’s Bank Identifier Code (BIC) is: VALLMTMT
