Night Safe Deposit Service
As part of our commitment to deliver a quicker and more efficient customer experience, Bank of Valletta has invested heavily in the automation of its centralised deposits service. Apart from improving efficiencies, this investment will enhance security in the processing of Euro-denominated banknote deposits.
As from 1st April 2021, customers who make use of our Night Safe Deposit service should, through BOV Internet Banking, inform us of their deposit up to two days in advance. A copy of the automatically generated QR Code is to be printed and sent to the Bank, together with the deposit. As from 1st June 2021, we will be unable to process deposits without the QR Code.
