Bank of Valletta is supporting DesigNation, the annual exhibition that showcases the works of MCAST Institute of Art and Design students of different courses and levels.
The Institute of Art and Design offers a range courses ranging from Diploma in Art and Design, Extended Diploma in Design Crafts, HND in 3D Design, HND in Interactive Media, HND in Fine arts and a HND in Media (Moving Image). This year saw in introduction of two degrees namely 3D Design and Interiors, and Graphic Design and Interactive Media.
Edward Muscat Azzopardi, Head Marketing at Bank of Valletta presented the Bank’s sponsorship to the Director of the Institute of Art and Design, Mr Stephen Vella in the presence of the exhibiting students.

Thanking Bank of Valletta for its support, Ms Nadege Cassar, in the name of the students, said “This exhibition is much awaited yearly event for the Art and Design Institute, by the students as well as the Director of the Institute Mr. Stephen Vella and the tutors. The event is a big opportunity for us to showcase our works as well as to encourage such career paths to prospective students.’’
The exhibition will be held at St. James Cavalier in Valletta and is being inaugurated by the Hon. Lawrence Gonzi, Prime Minister of Malta on the 8th July. The exhibition will be open for the public between the 9th and the 25th July 2010.
