Bank of Valletta supports Malta International Double Trap Gran Prix

Bank of Valletta is supporting the first edition of the Malta International Double Trap Gran Prix organized by the Malta Shooting Sports Federation. 

The Malta International Double Trap Gran Prix is being held on Sunday 6th May 2010 at the Bidnija Shooting Range and is organized to the International Shooting Sports Federation where every shooter competes on 3 rounds of 50 clays each. The top 6 shooters will shoot a spectacular barrage final on another 50 flash targets.  

The Gran Prix will feature top class world shooters from nine countries including Malta with multiple world champions among their ranks. Malta will be represented by William Chetcuti, Matthew Grech and Noel Xuereb.

 Charles Azzopardi, Manager Marketing at Bank of Valletta presented the Bank’s sponsorship to Savior Portelli, President of the MSSF at the Bidnija Shooting Range.

 “Bank of Valletta is proud to participate in this international events featuring athletes of world class level”, said Mr Azzopardi. “We congratulate the MSSF for the organisation and take this opportunity to wish all the luck to the Maltese shooters in this event”. 

“Apart putting Malta’s mark on the international shooting map, this Gran Prix will also give our shooters the opportunity to extend their experience in competing with world class shooters” said Mr Portelli. “We encourage the Maltese public to visit the Bidnija Shooting range on the 6th June to view this shooting spectacle and support our local shooters”.
