In a statement issued earlier today, Bank of Valletta denied all the allegations made by MUBE in relation to the mismanagement of workplace bullying.
The media release issued by MUBE contained a number of inaccuracies and was, as such, greatly misleading in terms of its content.
The Bank's Chief Executive Officer, Tonio Depasquale confirmed that the Bank adopts a zero tolerance approach towards bullying and harassment at the place of work and has always been committed to address all such reported cases.
He continued by saying that, unfortunately, the approach adopted by MUBE in this instance can only tarnish the Bank's reputation as a role model employer and does not help to support the excellent and healthy relationship that exist between the Bank and its employees.
